Little Bird

You were created a unique one of a kind creation.  From the very beginning I knew your journey in life would be difficult but although small I made you strong so you’d be able to handle the winds of change, so you could soar above the stormy clouds, life would surely bring.

You’ve lived in different nests and I hope they’ve taught you about yourself and about Me.  I have been with you on every flight and every landing and wherever your journey takes you I will always be there.  There is nothing you can do or say to get rid of me, we are flight partners for life. 

I am always here to comfort you when you’re hurt, to encourage you when you doubt your abilities and carry you when you are too weary to fly another day.  

Don’t let the cruelty of the world clip your wings little bird.  You were made to soar.  Be you.  Rare and beautiful and all together lovely, you.

You are strong and brave, you are wise and tender, you are priceless and treasured.  So, fly high little bird and fly far.  Fly in the direction of your hopes and dreams and as you do the fear and shame will fall away.

Fly in such a way that other birds see the freedom that comes from flying with Me.  You have my heart and I have yours, my precious little bird ❤️
